The fourth brightest star in the night sky, and the brightest in the northern half of it. A red giant, cooler than the Sun and far larger, which is why it burns the colour it does.

The Romans took the word as Arcturus. Latin wore it down through the ages, and now, in Italian, the star is called Arturo.

In Italy, Arturo is a name people are given. As luck would have it, it happens to be mine.
I have gone by Art for years. It is the short form, and it is the near end of the same chain: Arcturus → Arturo → Art.
Three letters made of the very same stardust that has guided my steps ever since.
